The ANZ Queensland Owners Card is a joint initiative of the Queensland
Racehorse Owners Association, Queensland Racing and Racing Information Services
Australia.
The ANZ Queensland Owners Card complements and enhances the benefits currently
enjoyed at participating race clubs by owners racing horses in Queensland.
The ANZ Queensland Owners Card heralds a new era benefits to owners of
racehorses in Queensland.

Our motto "No Racing Without Owners" clearly defines the committee's aims and
objectives, and every effort is made to ensure that the owners' position in the
racing industry is improved.
QROA acts as an independent lobby group, representing owners' interests and
campaigning at the highest levels for right and industry improvement.

Queensland Racing Limited is the peak control body for the thoroughbred
racing industry in the State of Queensland.
- It coordinates, manages, and regulates the industry through a number of
distinct functions including:
- administration of the rules of racing;
- enforcement of standards of safety and integrity;
- licensing industry participants;
- registering race clubs and monitoring their activities;
- racecourse development and capital works;
- research and promotional activities;
- administration of industry funding and commercial agreements; and
- representing the Queensland Racing Industry on the peak national body,
the Australian Racing Board, and its Sub-committees

Racing Information Services Australia Pty Ltd (RISA) is an independent
company owned by each of the Principal Racing Authorities. RISA’s shareholders
are Racing NSW, Racing Victoria Limited, Queensland Racing Limited, Racing and
Wagering Western Australia, Thoroughbred Racing SA, Tasmanian Thoroughbred
Racing Council, Thoroughbred Racing NT and Canberra Racing Club.
RISA was formed in 2003 following the purchase of the Racing Services Bureau,
Trainers Service Centre and the Registrar of Racehorses. At this time the role
of protecting the Thoroughbred’s Race Fields, Race Form and Race Results along
with the role of commercializing this Racing Information was transferred to RISA.
With the mission statement of ‘One Process, One System’ RISA also commenced at
this time the process of delivering a range services to the Thoroughbred
industry on a national basis. In March 2006 RISA was restructured and in August
2006 a new strategic plan was adopted and the ‘New RISA’ was established.
RISA is a Not for Profit organization with all surpluses distributed back to the
Thoroughbred Racing industry via RISA’s shareholders, the Principal Racing
Authorities.
