ANZ QUEENSLAND OWNERS CARD PRIVACY POLICY
The Qld Racehorse Owners Association (“QROA”) in conjunction with Racing
Information Services Australia (“RISA”) deals with the collection, security,
quality, use and disclosure of personal information in respect of the ANZ
Queensland Owners Card program in accordance with the provisions of the National
Privacy Principles which are set out in the Privacy Act 1988.
QROA and RISA are committed to protecting cardholder privacy and have developed
procedures to prevent unauthorised access to cardholders personal information
and policies to ensure it is used correctly. QROA and RISA encourage cardholders
to advise of any personal information which is incorrect by contacting the
customerservice@ownerscard.com.au or 1800 336 165.
Information provided to QROA and RISA will be used to maximise cardholders
enjoyment and use of their ANZ Queensland Owners Card. If cardholders choose not
to provide their personal information, we may not be able to deliver the full
benefits that the ANZ Queensland Owners Card can provide.
Information maintained by RISA on behalf of QROA about cardholders will also be
used to update membership records, provide information and enable cardholders to
access the services and benefits relating to the ANZ Queensland Owners Card and
to conduct research in order to identify and analyse the ongoing needs of
cardholders. It is the policy of RISA and QROA’s not to provide mailing lists
for general commercial purposes, although we do use such lists for promotional
purposes associated with the ANZ Queensland Owners Card, participating race club
activities, and racing information – all intended to be for the benefit of
cardholders. If you wish to have your name excluded from promotional lists
contact
customerservice@ownerscard.com.au or 1800 336 165.
Cardholders have the right to request access to any personal information held by
QROA, which relates to that cardholder. Cardholders also have the right to
request the correction of any information which relates to them and is
inaccurate.
